Bahrain Condemns Beirut's Bombing
Manama, Safar 24, 1435, Dec 27, 2013, SPA -- The Kingdom of Bahrain condemned the bombing occurred near a government complex in the centre of Lebanese Capital City Beirut, and caused the killing and injuring of innocent people, as well as killing of the former Minister of Finance, Mohammed Chatah.
In a statement issued today, the Foreign Ministry said "The Kingdom of Bahrain condemns the massive bomb blast occurred near a government complex in the centre of the Lebanese Capital City Beirut, causing killing and injuring a number of innocent people, and killing of the former Lebanese Minister of Finance."
The Foreign Ministry also said that "The Kingdom of Bahrain stresses that such criminal acts are contrary to all humanitarian values and would cause the region to slide into chaos and instability."
According to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the Kingdom of Bahrain called on "All Lebanese political leaders to be cautious and to exercise utmost restraint so as not to give an opportunity to those who tamper with the security and stability of Lebanon, and to protect Lebanon from the repercussions of this criminal act which aims to start sedition and cause Lebanon to slide into chaos and violence."
