Shopping Mall Fire Kills 4 in Southwest China
Chengdu, Safar 24, 1435, Dec 27, 2013, SPA -- Four people have been confirmed dead and 35 others injured after a fire triggered by a natural gas explosion broke out Thursday evening in a shopping mall in Luzhou City, southwest China's Sichuan Province.
The explosion occurred around 10:40 p.m. at the Mo'erma shopping mall and flames soon spread to the ground and second floors, Xinhua quoted sources with the municipal government as saying.
The search and rescue is still under way.
