WHO announces increase of average age in the Kingdom to 75 years
Riyadh, Safar 25, 1435, Dec 28, 2013, SPA -- In a 2013 statistical report issued recently, World Health Organization has announced the rising of life expectancy at birth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 69 years in 1990 to 75 years in 2011 as the average age for women reached 77 years and men 74 years.
In a report today on this occasion, the ministry of health said that these statistics confirm the strenuous efforts undertaken by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, represented by the Ministry of Health, to promote health programs in the kingdom.
